The Kristjánsburið is a safety device that has proven its worth in the Icelandic fishing industry. The design stems from a real need for better safety during landing – and the result is a device that increases safety, performance and makes work easier. The cage closes automatically during hoisting and opens again at the quay, which contributes to a safer and more efficient landing. It reduces the risk of accidents, saves time and manpower, and handles the fish baskets more gently. The Kristjánsbur developed in close collaboration with Icelandic fishing companies, combining safety, efficiency and high-quality Icelandic craftsmanship.

Often a span voltage is formed in the rotor motors and generators, if the voltage becomes so high that it starts to go through bearings, it causes burns and damage to bearings. When a required spare part is not readily available, we utilize 3D scanning, material analysis and reverse engineering to manufacture custom-made replacement components. Our engineering expertise enables us to reproduce or improve critical components when originals are unavailable or obsolete.
