HD has its roots in Hamar ehf. (established in 1998) and has grown rapidly through mergers with Deili tækniþjónusta, NDT ehf. and Vélar ehf. Combined under one name, a powerful and experienced service provider has been created, which today is among the largest companies in the country in its field.

HD employs around two hundred people with diverse experience and specialised training.
