HD has built up technical expertise and boasts specialised equipment for the custom fabrication of engine parts. We use, among other things, 3D scanners for the precise measurement of older engine parts that are damaged or require replacement. In many cases, customers choose to have a new engine part manufactured from a more wear-resistant material than the original – which can significantly increase its wear resistance and extend the equipment's lifespan.
At the HD premises in Kópavogur, there is a fully equipped slipway with specialised staff and modern equipment for machine and component manufacturing. We also utilise a trusted network of experienced foreign manufacturers, which ensures both favourable prices and short delivery times. If required, material certificates can be provided with the machine parts.
