Students of Energy and Industrial Engineering in a visit to HD

Recently, HD welcomed a group of students from Akureyri, who are studying energy and industrial engineering at the University of Reykjavik, to the company's premises in Mosfellsbær. The aim of the visit was to learn about HD's operations in the energy sector, gain insight into the company's projects, and discuss future opportunities within the industry.

The guests were very well received and were given a good introduction to the company and the role of HD in Icelandic industry. The students also gained an insight into rotor repairs and condition monitoring, where procedures, technical solutions and the importance of accurate diagnostics for operational safety and equipment longevity were reviewed.

Following the presentation, the guests were served lunch, which provided an excellent opportunity for informal discussion about the course, the industry, and the many opportunities within the energy and technology sector in the years to come.
