The week of 31 March to 4 April 2025 was dedicated to safety at HD under the heading „Safety and working environment”Safety Week was well received by staff, who also took an active part in the programme.
Safety is of great importance in industrial companies where employees work with machinery, equipment and materials that require special care. HD places a strong emphasis on ensuring the workplace is safe and that all employees return home safely at the end of the day.
During Safety Week, both physical and social safety were discussed, with each day dedicated to a specific safety theme. The week began with a social gathering and cake at all of the company's sites. Managers held meetings with their staff to discuss the relevant themes in more detail. In addition, further information was displayed on information screens at all company sites and on the internal staff intranet.
We recognise that the best prevention against accidents and ill-health is ourselves. By putting safety first, using the necessary protective equipment and showing respect for our colleagues, we contribute to a safer working environment. Safety is one of HD's core values, along with integrity, service and professionalism.
Safety awareness is part of the company's daily work and culture, and HD's aim is for every week to be a safety week.
