HD in Arion Escape

HD staff recently tackled the Arion Escape cybercrime challenge – an educational project by Arion Bank which raises awareness of the growing threat of cybercrime. Staff from the finance department took part on behalf of HD, giving them the opportunity to learn about the methods of online fraudsters in a live and impactful way.

In the project, participants put themselves in the shoes of fraudsters who are trying to defraud a company of large sums of money. By thinking like a fraudster, they gain a deeper understanding of how fraud is organised and what warning signs to look out for. The project combines education and team-building, and serves as a reminder of the importance of remaining constantly vigilant in digital communications.

At HD, we place great emphasis on security in all our operations and believe that participating in projects like this is key to enhancing our staff's online awareness. When it comes to online scams, recognising the warning signs – and thinking twice – can make all the difference. Anyone can fall victim to fraud, but increased awareness significantly improves security.

We thank Arion Bank for a fantastic initiative!
