Aqua Nor, held in Trondheim from 19–21 August 2025, is the world’s largest international exhibition dedicated to technology and innovation in the aquaculture industry. Since 1979, the exhibition has been held every other year, attracting both smaller specialized companies and the world’s largest players in sea-based and land-based farming, technological development, research, and services.
HD representatives will be at the exhibition to gain insights into the latest industry developments and innovations, connect with partners, address key challenges, and explore new ways to better serve the needs of the aquaculture sector.
Aquaculture has experienced rapid growth in recent years in Iceland, and during this time HD has been working systematically to expand and strengthen its offering of solutions and services for the sector. This development is built partly on our successful collaboration with aquaculture companies – particularly in the field of land-based farming – and partly on the extensive experience of HD’s employees in serving the seafood industry with a wide range of solutions.
We are servicing the aquaculture sector in a variety of ways:
- Pumps and motors - for the transfer of seawater, freshwater, and biomass. Fishmeal equipment, valves, and valve actuators.
- Custom stainless steel fabrication - for aquaculture cages, processing facilities, and connection systems.
- Condition assessment and continuous equipment monitoring - to prevent unexpected equipment downtime and improve performance.
We see great opportunities to strengthen our ties with the aquaculture industry and showcase the services and solutions HD has to offer.
