Last week, we at HD welcomed the teachers. Ana Etxeberria Aristegieta and Francis Xavier Izkierdo Iturrioz from the Don Bosco Technical School in Errenteria, Northern Spain. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the school and HD on an international internship for students in the metal and mechanical engineering sectors.
Last year, we welcomed the first students from Don Bosco for a three-month work placement, which went extremely well. This spring, two new students arrived, ready to take on a variety of projects in Iceland. We gave Ana and Francisco a tour of the HD facilities and working environment, where they gained a good insight into the company's operations and the conditions for staff and visitors.
