HD takes part in Samorku Conference 2025, which takes place in Hof in Akureyri on the days 22–23 May. At the conference's service and product exhibition, HD specialists will present their service offerings and discuss with visitors the solutions of the future in energy and utilities.
Samorkuþing is the country's largest conference in the field of energy and utilities and is held every three years. This year, over 500 guests are expected, along with the usual varied programme.
HD also takes an active part in the programme of the conference. Árni Jakob Ólafsson, Head of Power Stations, will give a presentation on the main programme; „Sustainability in maintenance and resilience – a key factor in the operational security of energy infrastructure“. Furthermore, it will be Simon Thor Hansen, a technical consultant, with a short talk in the exhibitors' special programme, where he discusses how HD services heat water with operational security as a guiding principle.
