HD and our Community

HD wants to be an active participant in the community and support projects that have a positive impact on our local area. Through grants and partnerships, we place a special emphasis on education, knowledge acquisition and development in the industrial and technological sectors.

Our values – safety, honesty, outstanding service and professionalism. – guiding us in our day-to-day operations and interactions with staff, suppliers and customers. HD's sponsorship policy reflects these values and supports projects related to the company's core business or that have a positive impact in the communities where our sites are located.

Emphasis in strengthening work 

We support projects that align with our values and have a clear professional or social purpose. A special emphasis is placed on education and knowledge acquisition, where we support students in vocational and technical fields at all educational levels with the aim of enhancing the skills of future staff and promoting the development of the sector. The focus is on:

• Innovation and technological progress: Encouragement for education and career development in the industrial and technological sectors

• Sustainability and responsibility: Support for projects that promote the sustainable use of resources and responsible governance

• Community project: Projects that promote positive changes in our local environment

Applications should be submitted electronically via the HD website, along with the relevant supporting documents. Grant applications are considered on a quarterly basis. All applications are assessed in accordance with HD's grant-making policy, and a response is sent once the assessment process is complete.
