HD’s workstation in Vatnagarðar in Reykjavík is the old headquarters of Vélar Ltd. Founded in 1957, Vélar has from the beginning been the sales and service partner for well-known producers, such as Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmission. Its technologists and salespeople have decades of knowledge and experience of selecting and repairing pumps and pumping equipment for fish farming, fisheries and other industries. It also sells spare parts for pumps, including pump axles and pump wheels, and has the country’s broadest selection of shaft seals and much more.
