HD places a strong emphasis on ensuring the workplace is safe and that all employees return home safely at the end of the day.<\/p><p>During Safety Week, both physical and social safety were discussed, with each day dedicated to a specific safety theme. The week began with a social gathering and cake at all of the company's sites. Managers held meetings with their staff to discuss the relevant themes in more detail. In addition, further information was displayed on information screens at all company sites and on the internal staff intranet.<\/p><p>We recognise that the best prevention against accidents and ill-health is ourselves. By putting safety first, using the necessary protective equipment and showing respect for our colleagues, we contribute to a safer working environment.
