HD recently completed the design and construction of two steel road signs for G\u00edsli's Collection at Uppsala<\/a> in Sel\u00e1rdal in Arnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The signposts are a gift from HD to the museum and the first has already been put in place where it will welcome visitors and direct them to the museum. The museum will be formally opened on 7th August.<\/strong><\/p>

The signposts were designed by HD's technicians from an existing model and then laser-cut from steel in K\u00f3pavogur. The result is a striking steel sculpture that combines design, craftsmanship and technical expertise, fitting perfectly with the rugged landscape of Sel\u00e1rdal and welcoming visitors on their way to the museum.\u00a0<\/p>

It is always gratifying when the knowledge, professionalism and craftsmanship of our staff are allowed to shine in projects like this. The project is a fine demonstration of the diverse skills within HD, where design, technical execution and quality craftsmanship come together to create durable solutions that also possess strong aesthetic value.<\/p>

The first waymarker is now in place and has become part of the experience for visitors. G\u00edsli's Collection at Uppsala<\/a>.
